Tips and stories to add value to you and your organisation
I am a Business Coach.
That’s what I do, that’s how I see myself at heart.
I also write, teach and host a radio show – we all can do many other things of course.
And when I went into business over 10 years ago I was really focused on coaching.
Mind you, as someone who loves to be creative and engage with people I also love teaching in workshops and at Cranfield University.
I mention this ‘I am a business coach’ because recently a good friend was helping me to simplify ‘Brand Rich’ and get down to the basics of my business identity.
It felt good to be stripped back to my original coaching focus and because I like the simplicity of it I am currently in the process of tweaking my website, twitter bio, business card and so on.
We can let our identity become as cluttered as our desks and it makes sense to stop and think hard about who we are at heart.
So, this week, think about yourself at work and complete the statement:
“I am a…..”
And then take a look at your social media footprint. Is your identity clear everywhere?
