You, Me And Skype

I coached a client this week without leaving my desk. Next week I’m travelling to Birmingham, Bedfordshire and London and will get to wear my executive slippers at all times…because I’m not leaving the house.

Thanks to the magic of Skype I can work anywhere in the world and still be home for tea. No traffic jams, no hassle on the tube and no passing on expenses to clients. Everyone wins.

It was a client who persuaded me to use Skype for a meeting several years ago. I wanted to drive. I wanted to shake their hand and buy them an expensive latte. They laughed and said to try Skyping, so we did and my eyes were opened.
