I’m a leading UK writer and exec coach, specialising in Modern Careers.

Modern Careers are now a pick and mix selection of frequent job changes, short-term contracts and self-employment. We all need the right skills to survive and thrive and we can all do well, when given support and training.

I have a background in senior-level operations management, post-graduate lecturing, business coaching, psychometrics, Lean process improvement and Transactional Analysis… and I’m the only one of me I know.

I coach, I teach and I speak at networking events and conferences.

My books are published by Marshall Cavendish in Singapore and have been sold around the world. I’m an Accredited Teacher at Cranfield University and I run my own business, that delivers coaching and ILM accredited courses. I also have a Fellowship in Manufacturing Management, which I’m proud of.

This blog, the downloads and the books are the result of 20+ years of experience that span success, redundancy, self-employment, career change, resilience, sadness, determination, clear thinking and ambition. My approach is to combine practical tools with original thinking and an OK-OK attitude, that celebrates us all as talented and worthwhile people.

The blog comes out every Monday and my favourite piece of feedback was from a colleague in London who said:
